Color Forecasting for Your 2019 Wedding, Parties, and Home

Every Year Pantone releases it's color trends and forecasts for the next year and now even two years ahead! Daunting I know! We are here to simplify it for you.

The Pantone Color Institute is a consulting service within Pantone that forecasts global color trends and advises companies on color in brand identity and product development, for the application and integration of color as a strategic asset. Recognized around the world as a leading source of color information through seasonal trend forecasts, custom color development, and palette recommendations for product and corporate identity, Pantone Color Institute partners with global brands to leverage the power, psychology and emotion of color in their design strategy. What this means for a consumer. Everything you see new in a store or to purchase online is developed with this strategy in mind. Granted event rental companies are not changing their entire stocks to reflect this but they do change and introduce pieces or if you plan to have a fashion forward element to your event (whether that be the color of your bridesmaid dresses, the flowers you choose, the color on your invites, etc..) it is pure fun to follow these trends when planning decor for your wedding, events, or home. The Colors Are Fiesta Jester Red Tumeric Living Coral Pink Peacock Pepper Stem Lemon Verbania Princess Blue Terrarium Moss Toffee Mango Mojo Neutrals : Pressed Rose Eclipse Brown Granite Sweet Corn Soy Bean

Now I know for a fact that my clients are not going to be running out to register for a bunch of Fiesta colored sheets or choosing Lemon Verbania Bridesmaid Dresses.. or will they??? Who knows but what I do know is just like it is fun to update your home its also fun to follow these guides to select florals arrangements and choosing your event color scheme.

Like in this photo notice the touches of the pink flowers & table accents ( Pantone: PINK PEACOCK & JESTER RED in a combination ) and the color of the gown reflects the Pantone Choice ( SWEET CORN) (photo by Mariah Mac Studios)

Blue Print.

You may have already seen several items that are usually neutral toned painted this color. Cabinet makers have been coming out with this color for kitchens and furniture particularly couches are becoming quite popular in this color. Also when you are selecting possibly rental furniture for your venue for seating areas it is fun to incorporate what is on trend for color to make a pop statement and add to your overall event look. Here are some current home looks from west elm with focus of on trend 2019 colors. You will especially notice those blues, coppers/ oranges, and yellows form the colors above mimicked in these looks.
